Laker Stadium
The Lakers’ home field was Laker Stadium. Laker Stadium hosted the 1951 Mississippi–Ohio Valley League All-Star Game. The ballfield and part of the original stands are still in use today at the stadium, which sits within Twin Lakes Park. The address is 137 West Steidl Road, Paris. The most recent addition to Twin Lakes Park is the trailer park adjacent to the baseball diamond. It contains trailer spaces with electrical hookups, self-standing barbecues, picnic tables, refuse removal, and a bathhouse containing water, shower, and restroom facilities.
A plaque is located on the concession stand. It contains all of the individuals and businesses’ names who contributed funds and in-kind labor. The restoration took about 12 years to complete and was finished in 2018, at a cost of approximately $250,000.00.
