Our Parks

The City of Paris’ park system is carefully maintained through the efforts of the Paris Parks Department. The department’s maintenance operations provide an excellent park system that invites visitors to relax and enjoy the open spaces.

The Parks Department oversees a comprehensive citywide program ranging from lawn mowing to snow removal. The department’s primary focus is on the park sites and facilities’ timely upkeep under the department’s care and custody. Besides the essential tasks of park maintenance, the department is responsible for trash removal, field lining, and grass cutting. The department is also responsible for the city’s treescape, the department’s horticulture programs, building and equipment repairs, and many other area maintained as part of the city’s beautification program.
